Holiday of Maple in the Botanical Garden
Thousands of maple leaves woven into beautiful wreaths, walking in search of amazing birds, stories about plants and zombies, the Japanese art of flower arrangement and fall of golden leaves; all this and much more will be part of the colorful celebration of Maple in the Botanical Gardens which is to take place on September 28th, 2014.
Visitors of the traditional festival can take part in creative workshops; try their hands at drawing splendid compositions of autumn leaves - the Japanese art of ikebana. In addition, on this day, the staff will conduct tours of the "Birds of the Botanical Garden" and will hold a quest in the park, called - "Plants vs. Zombies".
As part of the holiday program, visitors will be able to get familiar with the Japanese art of archery – Kyudo.
