St. Petersburg will be able to see "The Canterville Ghost"
On November 12th, the fairy tale for children and adults based on the novel by Oscar Wilde will be shown under the sounds of the chamber orchestra "Divertissement".
This unusual fusion of artistic expression and live music has already managed to stir Europe and is now getting to St. Petersburg.
The organizers of this event decided to coincide this with the anniversary of Oscar Wilde. His darkly humorous story about a custodian of Canterville, Sir Simon, and the new inhabitants of the castle is what the story is about. You will be able to hear the accompaniment of 24 Preludes by Dmitri Shostakovich and excerpts from the ballet "The Creation" by Andrei Petrov.
