Exhibition "Her Imperial Majesty's Hermitage"

In the Nicholas Hall of the Winter Palace opens one of the most exciting exhibitions to mark the 250th anniversary of the Hermitage.

The exposition tells about the formation of a unique collection of the Hermitage and allows tracing its path, starting from the era of the reign of Empress Catherine II.

To get the most out of your visit will help you the very first Museum's guidebook which was written in 1794 by Johann Georg, a German doctor, anthropologist and explorer who arrived in St. Petersburg and remained in the city due to the immense beauty of the Hermitage.
