Russian Imperial Gardens "Silk Road"
For a few summer days in June, Mikhailovsky Garden will turn into a magical oasis standing on the Silk Road, surrounded by exotic gardens, which will fill the air with a wonderful aroma of nice flowers.
The spectacular festival of landscape and design - "The Imperial Gardens of Russia" - will take place in Saint Petersburg for the fourth time. Here is where virtuoso florists and gardeners are to create catchy park compositions, erecting statues of living plants, as well as "sew" dresses of flowers and tame green animals.
The theme of the festival changes annually - for example, this year the theme will be, "Gardens of the Silk Road." The audience, for sure, will see fantasies and the recreation of the ancient Silk Road. The event will bring together teams from India, China, Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, France, Italy and Germany.
The festival will be held for ten days. During this time, guests will be able to see the magnificent landscape projects and get acquainted with the cultural traditions of the participating countries.
More information will be announced later this spring.
