The show "Classics at Palace Square"

At Palace Square, there will be a magical palace ball. The area will be filled with music by Rossini, Verdi, Gounod, Lehár and the waltz king Johann Strauss, under which everyone will want to begin to spin in dance, and, of course, fall in love. This event will take place against the backdrop of the amazing scenery of Palace Square in the open air.

On the day of the city on near the State Hermitage Museum, there will grow a stage decorated with the wonderful scenery of palace square, in the light of the setting sun will flicker crystal chandeliers, and the candles will add a romantic feeling. There will play fine music by Rossini, Verdi, Gounod, Lehar, Strauss and other famous composers performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

On stage this evening will be: an opera singer Dmitry Khvorostovsky, violinist Alena Baeva, singer D. Popov, an opera singer Valentina Nafornitsa and others.
