250th anniversary of the Hermitage
On Palace Square will be a big bright light show, which tells about the art, the city, the history and the main museum of St. Petersburg.
From December 7 to the 9th, St. Petersburg will host the International Cultural Forum, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the Hermitage. The event will have more than a dozen round tables, for which well-known people from different cities in the world will discuss a variety of topics: for example, Boris Eifman's talk about the development of modern dance; Stadler and directors of leading musical theaters of Europe to discuss burning issues of contemporary music, and Michael Piotrowski will lead a discussion on regional studies and museums.
As part of the Cultural Forum, there will be a lot of interesting events, and will be the brightest holiday light show with music honoring the birthday of the Hermitage. The show is to take place at Palace Square. The event is free for everyone.
