Ice Sculpture Festival in the Peter and Paul Fortress
Ice sculptures of Baron Munchausen, fearless pirate Jack Sparrow, Maleficent, Father Frost and Snow Maiden, and other characters of fairytales, myths and legends have recently been constructed behind the walls at Peter and Paul Fortress.
This year's heroes of the exhibition are from myths, fairy tales, legends, and domestic and foreign films. For example, among its sculptures can be seen Ded Moroz with his granddaughter Snegurochka, ubiquitous Baron Munchausen, Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean", the sea god Neptune with trident blazing, and the beautiful inhabitant of the enchanted forest - sorceress Maleficent.
In addition, one of the most interesting compositions will be an exact copy of the ice angel from the spire of Peter and Paul Cathedral.
By the way, every evening the ice sculptures are being lit up with colorful lights.
